Yesterday we took a quiet, slow, family day. We spent most of the day outside, worked in the garden, read books in the grass, and went for a bike ride. We saw butterflies, wild yarrow, blanketflowers, meadows, wetlands, smelled the pine trees and felt the gentle breeze. I guess I celebrated that we are alive in this place.
Use #74 for baking soda: cleaning crayons off walls and floors. Yes, I’ve had to do this a few times today, and thankfully it worked! How do you use baking soda?
While on a wagon ride at Fort Steele yesterday, I learned that all the gardens on site are maintained by volunteers. The harvests are shared with those volunteers, but most of the harvest is given to the local food bank, which I think is just a great way to contribute to the community. Thank you @fortsteeleheritagetown and the local food bank.
